This policy describes the Presscribe Windows application.

Everything stays local

Presscribe processes your audio and generates transcripts locally on your computer. Presscribe does not send your recordings or transcripts to any Presscribe servers.

Logs (optional, local)

If something goes wrong, you can enable and view logs to help figure out what happened. Logs are created and stored locally on your device, and nothing is automatically sent anywhere.

Model downloads

The only network requirement is downloading speech-to-text model files. Once downloaded, these models are stored locally and used locally.
